Clemson City Council
Town Hall Meetings

What do speed bumps, traffic, Highway 123, the Crescent Trail, sidewalks, student housing, changing how council members are elected, small cell nodes, Nettles Park enhancements, an electric power relay station, short term rental standards, student fellowships, CAT bus service, town & gown relations, capital projects, the proposed Keowee Trail project, the comprehensive plan, Clemson Park, and sign standards have in common?  Each has been a topic addressed at City Council meetings since January of this year and each has the potential to change life for the citizens of Clemson and surrounding communities. One other thing they have in common:  they are complex issues that need to be examined from multiple perspectives.

The City Council works for you, and, to do that effectively, we need your guidance.  We have organized multiple meetings designed to engage the community in shaping the future of Clemson.  It is a time for you to come and let us know your vision for Clemson and actions to support that vision. We hope this is a step in developing a culture of participatory government typified by engagement, dialog, and trust.

We urge you to attend one of the engagement meetings and become a voice for the Clemson you would like to see.
