CARJACKING

 

During the night of April 8, 2013 the Clemson City Police Department began investigating the report of a Carjacking incident that started at the BiLo on highway 93 in Clemson, SC.

The victim was returning to her residence in Clemson from working in Greenville and stopped at the BiLo in Clemson at app. 10:25pm.

  • The victim returned to her vehicle and a black female opened the passenger door getting into the victim’s vehicle – telling the victim to drive.
  • The suspect forced the victim to drive her to a location in Pendleton, SC.
  • After stopping at the first location, the suspect told the victim to continue to drive and at one point the victim informed the suspect she had to get some gas for her vehicle.
  • When the victim stopped for gas at another location in Pendleton, for whatever reason the suspect exited the vehicle.
  • The victim then locked her doors and sped away leaving the suspect.
  • The suspect did while in the vehicle with the victim rob the victim of her cash money.
  • The victim then reported the incident to the Clemson City Police Department.
  • After interviewing the victim our Uniform Patrol Units quickly thought of a person of interest from previous dealings within the City.
  • The investigation continued leading to the arrest of Nakesha Marquita Holden; B/F; DOB: 12/12/1983; 29 years old; 5’-7” & 158 pounds.
  • Holden is currently charged with Carjacking and awaiting a bond hearing at the Clemson City jail.
  • No injuries were reported to any individuals involved.
