5. Reports/Discussion Agenda:
a.
Mr. Ken Sloan, representing the Mountain Lakes CVB, to present a report to City Council regarding the recent FLW Fishing Tournament that was co-sponsored by the City of Clemson, the City of Seneca and Oconee County – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator.

b. Item Request – Receive a request from Tommye Hurst, Executive Director of the Clemson Arts Center for various signage permissions for the Clemson Festival Arts Event scheduled for May 17th – Mr. Andy Blondeau, Assistant City Administrator.

c. Chamber of Commerce Tourism Director, Lindsey Newton, will present Council a tourism report – Mr. Andy Blondeau, Assistant City Administrator.

d. Item Request – Receive a report from Mr. Bill Lanham, representing a group of local restaurants, regarding potential public referendum on Sunday alcohol sales and consumption.  (Previous information on this issue was provided at the March 17th Council meeting and is attached for informational purposes.) – Mayor J.C. Cook, III.

e. Staff and Council Reports.

6. Policy/Action Agenda:
a. Item Request
– Consider a Resolution that authorizes CAT Director, Al Babinicz to offer the City of Clemson’s official concurrence and identifies the Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Study Areas (GPATS) as the Designated Recipient for Federal Transit Administration transit funding that is appropriated for the Greenville SC Urbanized Area (Greenville UZA) – Mayor J.C. Cook, III and Mr. Al Babinicz, CAT Director.

b. Item Request – Consider a Resolution that amends the City of Clemson’s Section 125 Plan (Cafeteria Spending Plan) to allow participants to carry over up to $500 of unused amounts remaining at year-end as is now allowable by the Internal Revenue Service – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator. 

c. Item Request – Consider the request from Southern Wesleyan University President Todd Voss regarding the possible financial assistance from the City of Clemson on a project to construct a public access tennis center at their campus site.  (See attached letter and information) – Mayor J.C. Cook.
